Key Stage 3 Tuition

Studying Key Stage 3 maths during years 7-9 is a very important time in your child’s maths development, as it sets them up for their GCSEs in Key Stage 4. That is why many parents look to one-to-one tutoring to help their child reach their full potential.

I continually seek to make learning maths engaging and fun by helping the students understand what they do at school and expand their knowledge using a variety of strategies according to individual requirements. Revision includes problem solving, shape, space and measure, number and algebra and handling data.

This results in building the student’s confidence in the work they are doing at school, by ensuring that they have a solid grasp on mathematics taught in school, and then build on this by examining new concepts in all the areas of Key Stage 3 that they may not have understood.

I ensure that each student is fully prepared to build on this knowledge as they enter Key Stage 4.
